Good evening everyone,
It is with regret that I announce the end of the 4gaza.be initiative.
Despite the distribution of around one hundred donation boxes and the creation of a dedicated bank account, the results did not meet expectations: approximately €300 was collected.
Considering the actual costs involved — donation boxes (€1.20 each), stickers, website, administrative and travel expenses — this initiative has resulted in personal out-of-pocket costs.
It has become clear that the necessary momentum is not there to continue this project, and I have therefore decided to bring it to an end.
Although the humanitarian situation in Gaza deeply affects me personally — especially when seeing infants weighing less than 1 kg — I cannot continue under these circumstances.
I would like to sincerely thank all those who supported this initiative, in particular:
the shopkeepers of Hensies, Quiévrain, Frameries, Saint-Ghislain and Dour,
the parishes of Quiévrain and Dour,
Mr. Senne Potie,
the Quiévrain public library,
Locasix,
the Notre-Dame de la Paix care home in Audregnies,
as well as all other logistical and moral supporters.
I wish the people of Gaza strength and courage in 2026, without taking sides — humanity and dialogue remain essential, and I also have Israeli friends.

Hello everyone,
A huge thank you 🙏 to the more than 250 visitors who have discovered our website since Monday, August 25, 2025!
🚧 Project Progress
Talks are moving forward: I hope to soon officially confirm with the intermunicipal association IDEA the possibility of building the school on the Quiévrain site (known as La Sucrerie).
➡️ Goal: a transportable school, ready within 3 months.
Contacts and awareness-raising have already taken place with:

the cities of Quiévrain, Frameries, Anderlues, Ostend and Kortrijk

as well as with all IDEA-affiliated mayors and members.
💶 Revised Budget
The project has grown: the budget has increased from €250,000 to €500,000.
👉 Why? Because we decided to add a large cafeteria, which almost doubles the number of modules needed: from about 20 containers to 40 containers.
Today, the accounts show:

+ €250 extra invested by ActionLab.be for the production of 100 official 4gaza.be collection boxes

+ €180: the first private donation received from Kortrijk 🌍

4gaza.be Collection Box
📌 How the 4gaza.be collection box works
The 4gaza.be collection boxes are now available and already in place in Quiévrain, Frameries, Dour, Hensies, Kortrijk and Saint-Ghislain.
👉 Want to take part? It's very simple:

Receive a free official 4gaza.be collection box.

Place it on your shop counter or at any event.

Each box is independent: the participant is responsible for the collection.

The accounts are kept by the holder of the box and shared with the 4gaza.be team.

The funds are then transferred directly to the account of the 4gaza.be foundation (under construction).

Results will be published as soon as possible to ensure full transparency.
💡 Every contribution, even small, helps fund the project to build modular schools for Gaza.
